Welcome to IVY

My passion for helping people has always been a part of me. At 18 I received my first ever aromatherapy massage from a lady who regularly treated cancer patients. Having experienced first-hand the immense benefits of this treatment I knew that this was the path I wanted to follow.

However, during my twenties, I followed a career in the corporate world both as a stockbroker & later on as an account manager. I knew in my heart that this wasn’t my calling and didn’t fulfil me.

At 29, I decided to enrol in an evening class for an aromatherapy massage. This reignited my excitement to pursue a new career path. I joined the Beauty Academy & the Guild of Holistic Therapies gaining my VTCT  level 3 qualification. Once qualified I then took a leap of faith and left the corporate world for good in 2010.

I was a mobile therapist in the UK until November 2011. I then opened my first treatment room called The Beauty Room in Hebden Bridge.

In 2017 I relocated to Cheltenham to update my qualifications and opened up my second treatment room called “Room One”.

In 2018 I made a permanent move to the French Alps with the hope of finding the balance between my love of the outdoors in the mountains and enjoying my role as a therapist. Between December 2018 - April 2019 for my first winter season, I worked at a luxury chalet company as their in-house massage therapist.

Following my first Winter season in May 2019 IVY was born. Ever since, I have been on a mission to provide high-end, luxury beauty treatments to anyone who wishes to indulge themselves here in the mountains.
